I had the pleasure of receiving many amazing Wildtree samples from a wonderful WildTree consultant by the name of Jennifer Leerar to review. I was so excited to work with her on this project. First up on my Wildtree experiments: Taco Blend Seasoning.
One thing I love about Wildtree is that the products are organic. Check out the nutritional information below.
My husband and I often cook a bag of frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot and shred it up to use all week. We often make a wide variety like BBQ Chicken, Chicken Salad, Chicken Enchiladas, Buffalo Chicken…The list goes on and on! We decided to take the WildTree Taco Seasoning and make Chicken Nachos!
I definitely feel safer putting this seasoning on foods to serve my son because of the organic-ness. It was very simple to make. We just threw the chicken in a frying pan, tossed in a little chicken stock for added moisture and threw in the packet of Taco blend and WAAALAAA! The Chicken Nachos were almost done.
We used Tortilla chips and spread them out on our plates and loaded the chicken on top. The Dirksen House has a love for cheese like no other, you would think we were from Wisconsin. I loaded those nachos with cheese and my particular plate also included some store brand salsa and sour cream.
I thought this was a great seasoning and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to lean more towards the organic world. I will definitely be buying some in the future.
